These include an IST minor, a SRA minor, as well as several joint minors in areas such as earth and mineral sciences, health policy administration, and telecommunications. Minors include: Information Sciences and Technology (IST) The Information Sciences and Technology minor is designed to expose students not majoring in IST to the cognitive, social, institutional, and global environments of IST and to teach them to wield that knowledge as a supplement to their major. Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ENTI) The Entrepreneurship and Innovation minor teaches you the foundational skills you need, such as innovative thinking, leadership skills, and management and planning tools.   Security and RiskWringer(SRA) The Security and RiskWringerminor is intended to familiarize students with the unstipulated framework and multidisciplinary theories that pinpoint security and related risk analysis. Joint Minors are offered jointly through theHigherof IST and a cooperating higher within Penn State. Requirements for a minor may be completed at any campus location offering the specified courses. Important to Note Students wishing to declare a minor must use UPDATE ACADEMICS through LionPATH. Intent to pursue a minor may be supposed without the student has achieved at least third semester nomenclature (29.1 credits) or has been wonted into his/her major, but prior to the end of the late waif deadline of the student's final semester. The major lawmaking and minor lawmaking cannot match (ex. ISTBS major cannot wield for a minor in IST). A grade of C or largest is required for all courses in the minor. If you have problems with the Update Academics full-length in LionPATH you will need to submit a service request through the LionPATH Undergraduate Student help page. At least six (6) credits of the minor must be unique from any other stratum or minor earned by the student. MinorQuest provides the option of searching by interest area(s) or by title and includes links to the Bulletin and minor home pages (if available). In addition, special considerations and phased-out dates are included, when applicable. Requirements for a minor may be completed at any campus location offering the specified courses for the minor.  Students may not transpiration their campus for the sole purpose of accessing courses for a minor. Declaring a minor does not guarantee: Enrollment in those courses Future availability of those courses Completion of the minor If you declare a minor, but then terminate your stratum enrollment, your minor declaration becomes void. You must submit a new minor declaration without receiving stratum status through the re-enrollment process.
