She graduated with a B.S. in Information Sciences and technology, a B.A. in Political Science, and a minor in IST in Telecommunications. While at Penn State, she was happy to serve on the executive committee of WIST (Women in IST) and participate in Phi Beta Kappa, the IST Honors Society, IST THON, the Information Assurance club, and the Political Science Honors Society. In her lanugo time, Kelsey enjoys rooting for the Phillies and Eagles, hiking, reading, visiting her nieces and nephew, and planning exotic vacations. Kelsey is excited to serve as the Alumni Board's president and looks forward to facilitating the engagement of IST alumni by connecting them to their higher and university community. Russell Brick '12  russbrick@me.com Russell is a 2012 graduate of Penn State'sHigherof IST where he earned his B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis - Cybersecurity option. He is now a manager with PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) in their Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice based in Philadelphia, PA. Before peekaboo Penn State, Russell served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps. Russell has wits in security penetration testing and security assessments including social engineering testing. He has conducted physical security assessments, incident response exercises, PCI DSS assessments, and implementations of large-scale security platforms. Mike Eisenreich '03   mikeeisenreich@gmail.com Mike Eisenreich is a 2003 graduate of theHigherof IST. He works in New York City for Bloomberg and leads the company's trademark strategy, content, creative and digital marketing efforts globally. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mike held multiple roles in GE's corporate technology division, including running GE's global web presence. Mike created his first website in the fall of 1996 and has been passionate well-nigh digital technologies overly since. His interests in technology and marketing trace when to a very young age. He started playing the piano at age 5 and was classically trained as a musician. That love of music evolved into a passion for art and science and how the combination of creativity and technology can produce unconventional and impactful work. During his time at Penn State, Mike was proud to be a member of the first graduating matriculation in IST (which meant spending an exorbitant amount of time in the Boucke Building), President of Phi Chi Theta, and THON dancer. He currently works at Microsoft in Redmond, WA as a Security Engineer in the Artificial Intelligence and Research organization.   Jeffrey Gorzkowski '11   jeffgorzy@gmail.com Jeff is a 2011 graduate from theHigherof IST and currently works for the federal government in Washington DC. He graduated with a B.S. in IST and SRA. His love for the University and his proactive vein led him to wilt highly involved with theHigherof IST's numerous programs, committees, and clubs. He was happy to serve on the Fall Career Day and Future Forum Committees and to which he sooner became Chair of both. He served as the co-chair and co-founder of the IST Ball as well as the first TedxPSU web tint crew, was President of the IST Diversity Club, and was zippy within IST Student Government. He was an zippy IA Club member where in 2011 he helped the IA Club win the Golden Wrench in Shmoocon's Hack Fortress Capture the Flag competition for theHigherof IST which helped yank the sustentation of security companies to IST students' talents and skills through the wonk program. Kelsey Karpinski '16   kelseykarpinski13@gmail.com Kelsey is a 2016 graduate and currently is a Solution Architect for Atos SE working on the North American Siemens account. She graduated with her B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis with a minor in IST and a certification of recognition in Information Assurance and Cyber-Defense from the Altoona College. She moreover holds a Master’s in Information Systems from the Minot State University. Kelsey lives in the StateHigherarea and commonly volunteers at the Hintz Family Alumni Center at Penn State. In her lanugo time, Kelsey enjoys cheering for PSU football, walking, reading, and photography. Scott Lyons '05  SWL126@gmail.com Scott is a visionary in the information security industry. With over 18 years in the industry, he has worked for both government and commercial entities, tent scrutinizingly every security position there is. He wrote the vulnerability and incident response playbooks/manuals for multiple government agencies and commercial entities. As such, he is familiar with the compliance requirements for high-end commercial and government clients, and is unsteadfast to meet environmental requirements anywhere. Scott has successfully repelled hostile incursions by hacktivists versus unconcentrated media corporations. He has moreover led tracery reviews under tight deadlines and constraints, successfully managing the rollout and replacement of components and systems related to network security, wideness the globe. Scott is heavily involved in the information security community. He is a staff member at Derbycon, DEFCON, BSidesLV, BSidesDE, Shmoocon, and several other conferences. Prior to inward the data analytics field, she was a web zookeeper responsible for digital communications and IT consulting and services for a government organ in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She volunteers as a Computer Science Mentor for the Girls Who Code Club at her local library and seeks spare opportunities to encourage and mentor young women interested in STEM careers. As a PSU IST Alumni Society Board member, she is looking forward to facilitating support and outreach opportunities related to the women in IST and World Campus IST programs. Steve Ney '10  steveaprilney@gmail.com Steve is a 2010 IST graduate from the Penn State World Campus. Steve lives in inside Pennsylvania with his wife and three kids and works in health insurance informatics. Prior to his position in informatics, Steve worked in healthcare as an IT technical reviewer and in research for Orthopaedics and Pediatric Oncology. While at Penn State, she was part of many of the clubs in IST but was most zippy in the Competitive Cyber Security Organization. She spent all four years at University Park campus, but dual enrolled at the Greater Allegheny campus and began taking SRA courses her senior year of upper school. Madison went on to receive a Master of Science in Information Security Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University directly pursuit her time at Penn State. Her current role is as an Associate VulnerabilityReviewerin the CERT Coordination Center at the Software Engineering Institute in Pittsburgh, PA. While in this role, she has published and presented her work at the Three Rivers Information Symposium and ShmooCon. She hopes to bring her unique experiences as a PSU and CMU recent alumna, native Pennsylvanian, and as a lifelong woman involved in technology to goody the higher and university as a whole. Nikita Page '17   nikitapage10@gmail.com Nikita Page is a 2017 graduate of theHigherof Information Sciences and Technology with a major in IST, Integration & Application, and a minor in Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation.Pursuitgraduation, he began his professional career with KPMG LLP as an ITInspect& Assurance Associate within KPMG’s New Jersey/New York newsy services practice. Through his position he provides inspect support while assessing IT controls for Sarbanes-Oxley reporting of large Fortune 500 companies in order to powerfully identify risks to financial reporting and provide guidance of weightier practices within the retail and financial industries. He is zippy in his department’s polity service and outreach initiatives, and, slantingly his team, he assists in many of KPMG’s recruiting efforts within the greater Penn State community, and increasingly specifically, theHigherof IST. Nikita’s undergraduate years were defended to making theHigherof IST a richer wits for all students, staff, and faculty. He served as President of the IST Student Government, where he strived to promote student unity and enrichment in order to build a culture of learning and leadership that would be expected of tomorrow's leaders. He moreover served as the IST student representative on the Penn StateSenseSenate, taking note of the student voice on the sense voucher and all prospective policies. His other IST involvements included sitting on the DLAC Sub-committee on Student Data Privacy and serving as the IST representative on the PSU University Park Undergraduate Association. Outside of academia and governance, he represented the Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity as President and sat on the Executive Board for the yearly Penn State Movin’ On music festival.  Luke Simonetti '07 President  luke.simonetti@gmail.com Luke is a 2007 graduate IST. Luke currently lives in StateHigherwith his wife and four children. He is a Senior Director for Gartner, Inc., and leads the Global Security and Risk Management Consulting practice for the North America commercial industry segments. Luke regularly serves an executive counselor his clients' leadership and Boards of Directors and is an experienced security Subject Matter Expert (SME), with deep levels of wits in security governance, threat intelligence and modeling, network security, using security, information protection, business-IT integration, security operations, process improvement, and risk management. Prior to joining Gartner, Luke was a principal consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton where he was responsible for managing the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Cyber Security Operations and Response Center which included managing a team responsible for incident detection, response, and mitigation for multiple Drug Enforcement Administration programs, as well as security engineering development. During his time at Penn State, Luke was a Penn State Cheerleader for three years and urgently supports the teams as an alumnus. Andrew Weinert '09  AndrewWeinert@gmail.com Andrew is a 2009 graduate from Penn State. He is currently a member of the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Systems Group in the Homeland Protection and Air Traffic ControlSemesterat MIT Lincoln Laboratory. In recent years, he has worked with public safety and academia,  including Penn State, on programs to integrate drones into the National Airspace System and enable liaison in shredded and latent environments. Andrew is currently considered one of the technical leaders in support of the Federal Unmanned Aircraft Systems Executive Committee (UAS EXCOM) and the federal government’s drone efforts. Since 2011, in wing to his drone work, he has served as technical lead on an MIT and Penn State collaboration to develop smart information liaison systems for first responders. This collaboration has tested equipment at Beaver Stadium and Heinz Field during football games. As part of these efforts, Andrew is a significant freelancer to the research and minutiae roadmap for the upcoming nationwide FirstNet Public Safety LTE network.
